Ugo Victor Laurence Iwunze’s Journey of Growth and Leadership at Wolf Management

Before joining Wolf Management, Ugo Victor Laurence Iwunze’s journey had already taken him across countries and cities and through experiences that would shape his approach to leadership and growth. Originally from Onitsha in Anambra State, Nigeria, Ugo later moved to the United States, spending time in places like Detroit, St. Louis, and Southern Illinois along the way.

Growing up, Ugo envisioned a future as a professional soccer player. Sports played a major role in his life early on and eventually led him toward a background in athletic training, exercise prescription, and fitness management. That foundation taught him discipline and the importance of teamwork long before he entered the business world.

After high school, Ugo worked as a soccer coach, guiding students from third grade through junior varsity. The experience taught him patience and how to simplify complex ideas so others could understand and apply them. Around the same time, he worked as a bartender while continuing school, meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds every day.

Those experiences shaped the way he communicates and connects with others now.

Finding the Right Environment at Wolf Management

Ugo initially stepped into sales with one goal in mind: to strengthen his communication skills. What he found at Wolf Management became much bigger than that.

Drawn to our company’s growth structure and culture, he quickly found himself immersed in an environment that challenged him to improve while also giving him the opportunity to help others grow alongside him.

“My journey has been filled with ups and downs just like any successful journey.”

Since joining us in April 2024, Ugo has taken on increasing responsibility within Wolf Management and was promoted to Senior Lead Executive on March 26, 2026, marking a key milestone in his leadership journey. Throughout that time, he has helped grow teams, adapt to new campaigns, and even relocate across the country to master a new market.

The process was far from easy, but those experiences became some of the biggest catalysts for his development.

“There were a lot of challenges, and I honestly believe that those have made me stronger and smarter than I ever was.”

Growing Through Leadership

Here at Wolf Management, Ugo has continued developing a leadership style rooted in servant and situational leadership, with a strong emphasis on emotional intelligence, communication, and accountability within his team. As his role has evolved, he has learned that leadership is less about directing people and more about being present through both challenges and growth. Whether someone needs support, guidance, or accountability, he wants his team to know they are not navigating those moments alone.

That perspective also shapes the way he approaches feedback. While many people struggle with criticism, Ugo sees it as an important part of growth and self-awareness.

“I love criticism. It gives me a different perspective and allows me to grow by learning from my shortcomings and mistakes.”

That mindset has played a major role in his professional development, especially in overcoming challenges related to inconsistency earlier in his career. By focusing on habits, repetition, and mastering the fundamentals, he has developed greater discipline and confidence.

Much of Ugo’s perspective on leadership has been shaped by both his parents and leaders at Wolf Management, especially Meghan Wilson, who helped define his approach to growth, accountability, and development within the business.

Focused on What Comes Next

Outside of work, Ugo takes pride in the impact he has made on his family, including helping to build a home for them back in Nigeria. That sense of responsibility continues to influence the goals he is working toward, both professionally and personally. His immediate focus is on reaching management and creating opportunities for others along the way. Long-term, one of his biggest goals is relocating his entire family to the United States, something that remains a major source of motivation for him.

What drives Ugo most is seeing growth happen not only in his own life but in the lives of the people around him. That perspective shapes the advice he gives to others entering the business world: believe in yourself, stay committed to your goals, and continue putting in the work even when challenges arise.

As his journey here continues, Ugo remains focused on growth, leadership, and creating opportunities for others in the same way his career at Wolf Management helped shape his own path.
