Wolf Management Team Reflects on Growth and Leadership at the National Conference
Our Wolf Management team traveled to Houston, Texas, for the National Conference on Friday, July 24, and Saturday, July 25, joining professionals from across our industry for two days focused on leadership, development, and the opportunities ahead. For our team, the conference provided a chance to step outside our daily routine, learn from other leaders, and return with ideas we could immediately put into practice.
Recognizing Leadership and Participation
The National Conference was also an opportunity to recognize members of our Wolf Management team for their accomplishments. Lae Davis was recognized as a VIP during the conference, highlighting her continued contributions and development within our organization.
Ugo Iwunze also reached an exciting career milestone during the conference when his promotion to Assistant Manager was announced. He had the opportunity to speak briefly with conference attendees and share a few words as he stepped into this next chapter of his career. His promotion reflects the growth and leadership he has demonstrated throughout his time with Wolf Management.
President & CEO Meghan Wilson also participated in the Women in Business meeting, where she spoke about communication and setting proper boundaries. The discussion focused on how leaders can communicate effectively while building strong, productive relationships with the people around them.
Preparing for the Next Stage of Growth
One of the biggest themes our team took away from the conference was the pace of growth happening throughout our industry. Speakers and conversations throughout the weekend highlighted how quickly opportunities can develop and how much influence leaders have over the direction they take.
Our team also heard more about our client’s plans for growth and the opportunities that come with being part of an organization focused on expanding quickly. That perspective gave our team a clearer understanding of what could be ahead and why preparing strong leaders now matters.
For Wolf Management, that preparation starts with people. Leadership is not simply about reaching the next title. It is about caring about the people around you, helping them develop, and creating an environment where others can succeed.
Putting the Takeaways Into Practice
The most valuable part of a conference is what happens after everyone returns home. Our team has already started applying what they learned in Houston to the way we work.
Team members have already started applying new insights to interviewing, training, and developing their teams. Others are using what they learned to think more intentionally about office growth and how they can contribute to the next stage of development.
The conference also reinforced the importance of discipline and time management. As leaders take on greater responsibility, being intentional with their time creates more opportunities to invest in the people they are helping develop.
Building What’s Next
The National Conference gave our team a broader view of where the industry is headed and what we can do to prepare for it. More importantly, it reinforced an idea we carry into our work every day: growth is something we can actively shape.
As we continue building at Wolf Management, our focus remains on developing people who are ready to take on greater responsibility, support their teams, and help create the next stage of growth. The lessons from Houston are already influencing how we approach that work, and we’re excited to see where they take us next!
